    Numerical Simulation of Rock Cutting Process with Cutter-Suction Dredger

    • The model of rock cutting process is constructed with discrete element method.Rock parameters are calibrated by means of virtual brazilian test and uniaxial compression test, and the bonding model of soft rock is built.The 3D model of the cutter is constructed by means of Solidworks.The forces on the cutter during the cutting process under different working conditions are studied through simulation.
