Technical development of FPSO ship production system based on the finding of patent analysis

The evolution path of the patented technology is explored in terms of time situation, regional distribution, important applicants, and the category of core technology. The research shows that the technical development of FPSO ship production system has the characteristics of regional concentration and hotspot concentration; The developments are found having mainly focused on three fields: the treatment of oil, gas, and water, production equipment and storage devices, especially the topics concerning cooling, recycling, and reliquefaction treatment of gas vapor, support device of superstructure, and tank strength.
