Abstract
With the development of environmental awareness of the public and the enhancement of government legislation in environmental protection, reverse logistics has been valued by more and more people in all walks of life. Yet, well implementation of reverse logistics in ship construction industry needs to do several things, including to control safety risk, to decrease time consumption and storage costs, and to improve material recovery rate. The process of reverse logistics in ship construction industry is analyzed. The DMAIC-Petri model is built by applying Petri net and six sigma management method and the reverse logistics implementation process is optimized based on ESIA. The goal of the optimization is reducing the flow time and process difficulties. The process handling hazardous west produced during construction of a high-tech cruise ship is optimized for illustration. The results show that the number of process difficulties is reduced and the process completion time is reduced by 18.6%.
