A study on maritime regulatory responses to ship dismantling in the context of the Marine Environment Protection Law

This article is based on the introduction of new provisions on ship dismantling in the new Marine Environment Protection Law. Comprehensively comb through international conventions,administrative regulations,regulations,standards and technical specifications related to ship dismantlement,and analyze the current status of ship dismantlement and the difficulties and problems faced by maritime regulation. They proposed proposals to improve the system of ship dismantlement and improve the effectiveness of maritime regulation,hoping to provide ideas and means for maritime management agencies to effectively implement the requirements of the Marine Environmental Protection Law and strengthen the supervision of ship disarmament.
