Changes of waterway regime and trend analysis of North Channel based on the Yangtze River Estuary of sounding data

Selection underwater terrain sounding data of upper,middle and lower sections of North Channel since 2008～2021,application of GIS analysis channel washing and silting evolution,through to North Channel for years -5 m and -10 m depth contour change of research and its development trend,Analysis shows that the North Channel section in Xinqiao Channel on the carved out a 10 m water depth ditch,near the upper Yangtze River bridge main navigable hole shallow at 5 m water depth,North Channel under the river mouth bar section channel becomes shallow gradually,has now is shallow in 5 m water depth.
