    Exploration and prospects of shore power connection for ships

    • In response to the current urgent need for environmental protection in the global shipping industry, the research explores the application status, technical challenges, and future development trends of the technology of connecting ships to shore power in green shipping. Through the analysis of policy support, technological development, market application, and economic benefits of the technology of connecting ships to shore power at home and abroad, the main obstacles in the promotion of this technology are revealed, including technical bottlenecks, high economic costs, and insufficient policy support. On this basis, strategic suggestions for promoting the development of the technology of connecting ships to shore power are put forward, Specifically, they include technological innovation(such as researching and developing high-efficiency intelligent shore power connection systems, exploring the combination technology of wireless charging and super-capacitor energy storage), policy support, improvement of market mechanisms, and international cooperation. The research shows that the technology of connecting ships to shore power is an important way to achieve green shipping. In the future, it will be widely applied globally and provide strong support for the sustainable development of the shipping industry.
