Research on the framework of prediction, forecasting and early warning system for Yangtze River waterway operation

Abstract
The research on the prediction, forecasting and early warning system of waterway operation is a key path to promote the construction of intelligent waterways and the high-quality development of the Yangtze River Economic Belt in an all-round way. Based on the analysis of the existing prediction, forecasting and early warning system of the Yangtze River waterways and the theory of prediction, forecasting and early warning at home and abroad, the top-level design of the prediction, forecasting and early warning system of the Yangtze River waterways has been carried out. The overall structure of the system consists of four major systems and pilot construction, such as the infrastructure system, digital substrate system, model platform system, model and business application scenario system, etc.; it builds the path of forecasting and early warning implementation based on the business application scenarios on the waterway scale as an example, and analyses the expected effect of the system after its completion, and puts forward the direction of follow-up work in the areas of external collaboration, infrastructure, basic data and model platforms in the context of the path of implementation, the current data and the state of the art. In the light of the realisation path and the current data and technology status, it proposes the direction of follow-up work in external collaboration, infrastructure, basic data and model platform.
