Abstract:
Safe boarding and disembarking are fundamental to the work of pilots,and pilot boats are the primary means of transportation for transferring pilots. In recent years,accidents involving pilot boats during the transfer of pilots have occurred from time to time. By studying the mathematical models of ship motion and using AQWA software to calculate the motion response of pilot boats when approaching a ship under various sea conditions,it is possible to analyze the heave and pitch amplitude of the pilot boat. This analysis can provide the safety operation boundaries and methods for pilot boats. Furthermore,by integrating relevant domestic and international regulations and practical piloting experience,rational suggestions can be proposed for the transfer of pilots by pilot boats.
