Abstract
A questionnaire survey is carried out to find the factors influencing safety behavior capacity of workers in inland hazardous chemicals transport industry. The questionnaires have been delivered to the ship crew, the cargo handling workers and front-line operators working along the Yangtze River. The questionnaire covers safety knowledge, job satisfaction, psychological quality and, safety behavior. The answered questionnaires are processed by means of software SPSS25.0. A safety behavior model is constructed based on the SEM(Structural Equation Model) and used to carry out the hypothesis testing. The research shows that safety knowledge and job satisfaction have positive effects on safety behavior capacity, and job satisfaction is positively influenced by psychological quality, therefore, psychological quality has positive effect on safety behavior capacity.
