An Improved Quantitative Comprehensive Evaluation System for Inland Green Ship Classification

The index system of green ships examination in the "Rules for Inland Green Vessels" is revised to reflect the development of technologies. The weights of all indexes for the classes of green ships are redefined by jointly performing AHP（Analytic Hierarchy Process） and expert consulting. A container ship applying the green ship notation is evaluated with both the original system and the revised system. The results are compared to prove that the revised one is more reasonable and flexible.
